What this tool is
The one-paragraph version
Section titled “The one-paragraph version”When someone asks ChatGPT, Claude, Gemini, or Perplexity a question in your market, sometimes those answers mention your brand, sometimes they cite your website as a source, and often they do neither. This tool measures that, repeatedly and honestly, and then guides you to exactly what to change on your site so the engines cite you more often. That is the whole job, and the outcome it aims at: be the brand AI recommends.
It is not an SEO tool for Google rankings, and it is not a social-media tool. It cares about one thing: what the AI answer engines say when your customers ask them questions.
How you will actually use it
Section titled “How you will actually use it”The product runs one loop: measure, understand, act, recheck. You measure your visibility, understand why it looks the way it does, act on the best next move, then recheck to prove it moved. In the app that is Overview → Analytics → Actions → recheck. Overview is the guided decision home (what changed, your current score, the next best move). Analytics is the cockpit you open when you need to understand why. Actions is where you pick the highest-value fix and, later, confirm it worked. You do not have to become an AEO analyst to use it: Overview always points you at the next step.
You can also start with no login at all. The free public scan gives any domain a real Readiness score and its top issues, which is the front door into the full loop.
Why it can feel like a lot at first
Section titled “Why it can feel like a lot at first”The tool is deliberately thorough. It runs the same questions many times across four different engines, separates what it directly observed from what it is inferring, and refuses to fake a number it cannot stand behind. That rigor is the point, and it is what makes the results trustworthy, but it does mean there is vocabulary to learn. The good news: once you understand six core ideas, every screen falls into place.
Who each part is for
Section titled “Who each part is for”The Brand sidebar is organized around six jobs. Here is the shape of it, mapped to what you want to do:
| If you want to… | Job | Go to… |
|---|---|---|
| See where you stand and the next best move | Overview | Overview |
| Control which questions we track and how they run | Measure | Questions |
| Know whether AI can reach and read your site, and re-scan after a fix | Readiness | Readiness |
| Understand how visible you are and why | Analytics | Scorecard, Answers, Alerts |
| Know what to fix, in priority order, and prove it moved | Actions | Action plan |
| Hand a clean report to a client or colleague | Reports | Reports |
| Set up your brand’s facts, competitors, and data sources | Settings | Brand profile, Connections |
Two surfaces are implementation help you reach from an action, not primary jobs: Studio (help writing content that gets cited) and Outreach. You open them when an action calls for them, then return to the loop.
The honest-empty-state promise
Section titled “The honest-empty-state promise”Throughout the app you will see things like “not instrumented — no Cloudflare zone connected” or “insufficient window — 2 of 8 weeks.” These are not errors and not things you did wrong. The tool would rather tell you it does not have enough data yet than invent a number. When you see one of these, it is telling you exactly what to connect or wait for. The mental model page explains each one.
Read the mental model next. It is the six ideas that make everything else readable.
